"DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Works at Galter Library on the required and preferred elements of the data index and communicates these elements to the local development team;

Works with software engineers to do requirements specifications and data quality review, completes requirements analysis for data indexing and maintenance;

Works with a variety of stakeholders on campus and beyond to develop appropriate metadata schema and a data dictionary of common terms;

Works with data owners to understand options for dataset deposit and develop a workflow for the registration, management, and preservation of data assets;

Tracks federal and private funding agency requirements for data management, openness, and retention; stays current on trends and issues in the areas of data discoverability, reuse, and attribution;" [ ... ]
