Summary:
"The Repository Officer takes a leading role in the development of the university publication repositories (scholarly publications and theses). The repositories play a key part in the dissemination of research output and underpin the University's policy and approach to support open research. The role holder:
· Builds and maintains an awareness of developments (policy drivers, functionality and metadata requirements) in the wider open access environment and communicates that with stakeholders at Durham University.
· Contributes to planning and development of wider services around open access, scholarly communications and research support.
· Delivers advocacy, training and support activity to academic and professional staff driving engagement with open access, repository and research support services.
· Ensures administrative tasks are appropriately prioritised and completed to deliver a stakeholder-focussed service...."
