Springer and Beijing Normal University Launch OA Disaster Risk Science Journal

"Springer is partnering with the Beijing Normal University to launch a fully sponsored open access (OA) journal called International Journal of Disaster Risk Science (IJDRS). The journal will be included in the SpringerOpen portfolio, which allows the journal's contents to be OA immediately, and available on Springer's online platform SpringerLink to anyone with an internet connection. Part of Springer's Chinese Library of Science (CLoS) collection, the IJDRS will publish research articles that address theoretical and methodological issues within the fields of disaster science, emergency response technology and risk management, along with case studies and comparative research on responses to catastrophes. SpringerOpen journals are published under the Creative Commons Attribution license, under which Springer will not reserve any exclusive commercial rights."
