"On Thursday, May 26, 2011 presented the Royal Library and the libraries of the University of Amsterdam and Leiden University's database Early Dutch Books Online. About 10,000 books published in the Netherlands with more than two million pages from the period 1780-1800 are captured digitally. In collaboration with the Working Group is a 18th Century symposium from which the new research opportunities that prove such a large text corpus offers....Early Dutch Books Online is the first step towards a comprehensive digital research laboratory for the Humanities, which among others, all released in the Netherlands printed and written sources are included.
