An exploratory study into an intermediary service organisation handling author fees on behalf of academic libraries

"From the results of this study, broad outlines for the organisational setup of such an author fee clearinghouse are described as well as the conditions from librarian’s perspective and from the Open Access journal publishers’ perspective. It is concluded that the results of this study among librarians and Open Access Journal publishers show that there is general support for further exploration of the idea.
