MU Libraries introduces Open Access to campus

"MU [U. of Missouri] Libraries is holding its first Open Access Week, to introduce the idea of open access, on campus Monday to Sunday. According to the MU Libraries Open Access FAQ document, open access is the philosophy that access to information should not be limited to those who can pay for it. “The MU Libraries are participating in Open Access Week this year in order to shed light on the tremendous potential of Open Access,” MU Libraries Director Jim Cogswell said in a news release...."
