Elsevier Launches International Journal of Surgery Case Reports - MarketWatch

The International Journal of Surgery Case Reports is a new, fee-based peer-reviewed OA journal from Elsevier. I believe it's Elsevier's first full (non-hybrid) OA journal. (PS: Interesting and commendable. Unfortunately Elsevier is not trying very hard to solicit submissions. It describes the IJSCR business model as "author pays", a phrase better suited to FUD than accurate communication. Presumably Elsevier will accept publication fees from author-sponsors such as funders and employers.)
