Nature: the response

Quoting NPG: "Its not 50% of all NPG’s journals but 50% of our academic (not Nature-branded) journals....All of the academic journals NPG owns now have an open access option. Since the letter was published, six more of our society-owned journals have introduced open access options. They are American Journal of Hypertension, Laboratory Investigation, Modern Pathology, Mucosal Immunology, Neuropsychopharmacology, Obesity. We continue to discuss open access with our publishing partners, ultimately the decision to introduce an open access option on these journals remains with the society or organisation who owns the journal.
