"The University of Freiburg as a comprehensive university of the 21st Century, commissioned to develop promising innovations and to ensure the education of future generations. It stands by its commitment to the knowledge and the joint performance of their researchers from the company to make available. For this reason, the University supports so-called open access publishing models....University Rector Prof. Hans-Jochen Schiewer therefore emphasizes: "research findings that result from publicly funded projects must be accessible to the public. The open-access policy of the Alliance of scientific organizations in Germany is here the right way." ...Therefore encourages and supports the University of Freiburg their researchers specifically to present their scientific results on the road to open access....They should insist on a deductible is the author of the exploitation rights for the electronic versions...."
