[From Google's English] "In a letter, Global Coalition of Access to Research, Science and Education Organizations calls on STM to Withdraw New Model Licenses , sixty organizations demonstrate their opposition to the proposed licensing models offered by the International Association of STM Publishers (International Association of Scientific, Technical & Medical Publishers). For them, these licenses want to restrict the use, reuse and exploitation of research results. The petitioners are asking the community to use preferentially licenses Creative Commons . They include universities, library associations, funding agencies, academic libraries and publishers. In a statement , the STM Association has announced the availability of licenses presented as an alternative and complement to Creative license Commons under the publications in open access."
