CHDS Publishes New Articles in 'Homeland Security Affairs' Journal

The Center for Homeland Defense and Security (CHDS) at NPS has announced the publication of five new articles in its online journal, "Homeland Security Affairs." These articles, published in July and August of 2013, contribute to the ninth volume of the journal. "The Two Faces of DHS: Balancing the Department's Responsibilities," by Jerome H. Kahan
"The Plan, Type, Source, Report Cycle: A Unifying Concept for National Guard Preparedness," by David W. Smith
"Ami J. Abou-bakr, 'Managing Disasters through Public-Private Partnerships,'" by Austen D. Givens
These articles also constitute a permanent part of the Homeland Security Digital Library (HSDL) collection.
