Climate Security Report

Although American politicians argue back and forth about the causes of climate change, global science is virtually in consensus. Under close scientific examination, "96.2% of climate specialists believe that global temperature has risen over the past century and that human activity is a significant factor in that change."

The American Security Project (ASP) has launched a Climate Security Report (CSR) in order to predict how climate change will influence people's lives as global temperatures continue to rise.

The CSR is done in three parts, with supplemental documentation describing how rising food prices due to the effects of climate change - including severe storms, flooding, and drought - played a key role in causing the Arab Spring uprising.
