Prairie Studies talk at Grinnell College: "Intensive livestock production systems"

Summary:
On February 6, 2013, Professor Kelley Donham will speak at Grinnell College on the topic “Intensive livestock production systems: occupational and environmental concerns.” The talk will deal specifically with chemical contaminants that CAFOs release into our air and water.
Professor Donham is a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and is the Associate Head for Agricultural Medicine, Occupational and Environmental Health at the College of Public Health at the University of Iowa.
The talk will be held in room 102 of the Alumni Recitation Hall (at the corner of Eighth Avenue and Park Street in Grinnell), beginning at 7 p.m. Professor Donham will also meet for an informal discussion with members of the public at 4:15 p.m. on the same day -- Wednesday, February 6 -- at the same place.
