Monday is the first day of school for roughly 100,000 Iowa College students.
The first classes start at 8 a.m. for all three public universities including Drake University.
Drake President David Maxwell spends "Three Minutes in the Chair" with Channel 13's Dan Winter's to talk about everything from music, foreign language and "what's cool".
Maxwell received his undergraduate degree from Grinnell College. He and his wife, Madeleine, have two sons.
