Mickey was born July 29, 1933 in West Liberty, Iowa to Raymond and Grace (Dittmer) Weustenburg. She and her brother Wayne and sister Jean enjoyed their childhoods, and although they lived all over the country, West Liberty was always near and dear.
Marilyn went to Grinnell College where she met her husband William Allen Largent. They had 3 children. Jeffrey Allen Largent of Duxbury Ma., Cathy Largent of Ketchum, Id. and Tracy Largent of Jackson Wy.
