Nearly one of every three seniors who dies each year has Alzheimer's or another form of dementia, and Iowa has the third highest Alzheimer's death rate in the nation.

In order to raise awareness about Alzheimer's disease and generate support for research and a cure, Grinnell College psychology students invite members of the community to participate in a Walk to End Alzheimer's.

The two-mile walk will be Saturday, October 5th at eleven. To register, call 641-269-4441. There is no registration fee. Participants can also register at ten at the registration table on the morning of the walk. Participants will meet in front of the Joe Rosenfield Center on 8th Avenue on the Grinnell College campus.
