Jobs jobs jobs: if you’re looking to get into the thick of it, now is a good time
Open Access Now 2013-03-15
While thinking about what’s trending right now in the world of Open Access, and scanning the web looking for ideas, I was struck by the number and variety of job ads right now relating to open access, scholarly communication, open data and more. If you have an interest, a little experience, a lot of experience, whatever; it is time to flick the dust off the CV and start applying. The times, they are a changing, and they call for able and ample hands and minds to bring us into a brave new mostly uncharted world. It is a very exciting time to be involved in Open Access initiatives, and to work with others to figure out what outcomes we want to see in the future landscape of scholarly communications. Librarians and information scientists are uniquely poised to take on the task.
