Call to action – Support FASTR

If you haven’t advocated for open access yet, or even if you have, you now have an excellent opportunity to make your institution’s voice be heard. What can you do? Urge your provost or president to sign “The Open Letter in Support of FASTR.” This letter is a joint effort of SPARC, ARL, and COAPI whose intent is to show higher education’s endorsement of the FASTR Act of 2013.

Fair Access to Science and Technology Research, FASTR, is bi-partisan supported legislation that is intended to make federally supported research more readily and publicly available, and make funding for this research more transparent.
