My sister Stefania is 22 and just graduated from St. Joseph’s University, where I hope to go as well. She loves fashion, and I would describe her as boho elegant. She has always taken the designer labels that my mom loves and updated them with cool boho pieces. I’ve learned a lot from her.
’Tis the season:
Fall is the best season for clothes. I love the transition of an oversized cardi with a miniskirt and Jordans, or a Burberry knit dress with Dr. Martens. I also love Urban Outfitters crop tops with high-waisted jeans or cords.
How do you personalize a school uniform?
I add a neutral-tone sweatshirt and jewelry. I always have my nails done in a trendy color, so I feel “dressed.”
Favorite fashion era:
I love a modernized ’70s look. I love the bohemian style: miniskirts, frayed jeans, peasant blouses and tie-dyed shirts. I’m also tall, so both mini and maxi dresses work for me.

Talking ’bout my generation:
Nadia Lombardo. Photo by Joe Del Tufo I think my generation embraces style but is more relaxed than ever.
Tips from the tube:
On The Carrie Diaries, [the main character] is a cool fashionista. She plays with patterns and textures that somehow work.
Style icon:
Paris Hilton—because of her confidence.
Top shops:
Urban Outfitters, Free People, Nordstrom, Burberry at King of Prussia [Mall]. My sister’s Burberry raincoat. She got it when she was 12, and when she got a new one, she passed it down to me.
Total turnoffs:
Ill-fitting clothes or dirty clothes.
Never leave home without:
My crocheted Urban Outfitters bag, Louis Vuitton key pouch and Glossier Balm Dotcom in coconut (a lip balm).
Best bling:
A Gucci silver ring with interlocking turquoise G’s that I wear on my middle finger.
Accessory addiction?
I love Air Jordans because they have so many color combos and are comfortable. Even though I’m very tall, I love to rock a pair of chunky heels!
Wouldn’t be caught dead in:
A turtleneck. They make me feel like I’m being strangled.
Hippest artist:
Post Malone. His style is “vibey.”
Why fashion is important:
It allows people to express their personality.
