ACE Letter to National Science Foundation (NSF) on Research Security Reporting Requirements

On June 12, 2023, ARL joined a letter by the American Council on Education (ACE) to the National Science Foundation (NSF) asking NSF to engage with the higher education community in conversations foreign gift and contract disclosure requirements in the CHIPS and Science Act. The letter notes the burdensome reporting requirements that do not align with foreign gift reporting to the US Department of Education as required by Section 117 of the Higher Education Act.
