Coalition for International Education

On May 9, 2023, ARL joined the Coalition for International Education and 28 other organizations in calling on congressional appropriators to invest in the US Department of Education’s International and Foreign Language Education programs. The letters to House and Senate appropriators cites support by members of Congress to appropriate $173.6 million for Title VI, and $21.5 million for Fulbright-Hays in FY 2024. These programs provide foreign language and regional studies training to college and graduate students to address global issues.
