"In April 2015, the UNC Faculty Council recommended that the University adopt an open access policy in order to disseminate the fruits of its research and scholarship as widely as possible. Scholarly articles will be deposited in an open access repository. Implementation of the policy is scheduled to begin on January 1, 2016. Join Julie Rudder, Repository Librarian for the Carolina Digital Repository in Library and Information Technology, and Anne Gilliland, Scholarly Communications Officer, as they demonstrate the self-submission form and answer frequently-asked questions about the policy.
