ALASKA: Oil executives credit tax cut for North Slope's growing rig count

ANCHORAGE, Alaska -- ConocoPhillips is expanding its rig count on Alaska's North Slope, signing a five-year contract with Doyon Ltd., a Native regional corporation, to build and operate a new $100 million rotary rig at the oil giant's legacy fields.
