NUCLEAR: Vogtle backers make Bechtel primary contractor

The electric companies building two nuclear reactors at Plant Vogtle in southeastern Georgia have agreed to make Bechtel Corp. the primary contractor to finish construction, according to filings made last week with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
