OFFSHORE DRILLING: 3 oil majors back landmark project to stop methane leaks

Three oil and gas majors said yesterday they are partnering with satellite company GHGSat on a yearlong project to measure methane emissions from offshore oil and gas operations, which scientists say may be releasing much larger amounts of the greenhouse gas then previously known.
