Finally, after the longest campaign in recent Canadian history, Election Day is here.

It’s been a screwball campaign to say the least. Over the past three months, candidates have been caught peeing in mugs, drinking with teens, calling mosques “brainwashing stations,” and much, much more. One even admitted to not knowing what Auschwitz was.

It’s been the campaign of voting selfies, mad stacks, cat signs, bathrobe guy, Angry Tories, and “Old Stock Canadians.”

Oh, and who could forget Green party Leader Elizabeth May throwin’ up the ✌?

The Greens even have signs that say #votesassy now.

As our Brit friends would say, the Tories threw a few dead cats on the table, most notably the wearing of the niqab at citizenship ceremonies.

One Conservative said Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau would mandate community brothels.

Most recently, Harper — who's also campaigned on low taxes — hung out with famous former Toronto mayor Rob Ford.
