iWork picks up 3D Touch and Split View support as iWork for iCloud exits beta

Apple has just released an update for its iWork suite that supports new features introduced in both iOS 9 and El Capitan. Pages, Numbers, and Keynote now fully support Split View multitasking in both OS X and iOS, and iPhone 6S and 6S Plus users get 3D Touch support as well. Other banner iOS 9 features—keyboard shortcuts, Slide Over support, and Picture-in-Picture support—have been added too, and users with lots of old iWork documents can also open files created in iWork '06 and '08 in the updated OS X, iOS, and cloud apps.

Speaking of the cloud apps, iWork for iCloud is coming out of beta as part of this update. The new version lets users preview documents in mobile Safari and in Android browsers, and will let Web users and iOS users see an edit history for documents.
