"F1000Research is an innovative open science publishing platform, offering immediate publication, transparent peer review (post-publication) and full data deposition and sharing. F1000 Research is part of Science Navigation Group, who have a track record of establishing new publishing concepts and who started, for example, the first open access publisher, BioMed Central.

We are seeking a dynamic and outgoing individual with excellent interpersonal skills to join the team to work as an Editorial Community Manager for F1000Research (F1000Research.com) and for our platforms, such as Wellcome Open Research (wellcomeopenresearch.org), and Gates Open Research (gatesopenresearch.org) which will be launched later in the year.

The key purpose of this role is to raise awareness and engage with researchers to ultimately drive new article content to all F1000 platforms and will involve building relationships and increasing loyalty with the research community. The candidate will need to generate, implement and refine strategies for content development to support growth in article submissions across all F1000 platforms.

You will be educated to post-graduate level, with a scientific (ideally biomedical) background. You must have an active interest in open science publishing and open data, and strong experience of publishing research either as a researcher or in a publishing role . Willingness to travel extensively nationally and internationally is essential."
