"We are seeking to appoint a full time Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) and Open Education Resource (OER) Project Coordinator, initially for a twelve-month period to manage the School’s growing open online learning portfolio. The postholder will be responsible to the Head of Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) and work closely with Learning Technologists, Academic colleagues, Multimedia professionals as well as being the School’s operational focal point and platform administrator for our internationally renowned MOOC partner, FutureLearn. The postholder will manage strategically important MOOC projects from concept to external launch, whilst also maintaining existing course provision. At present, the School has six MOOCs publicly available on the FutureLearn platform, which often require the updating of research-led content or the scheduling of additional course runs throughout the year. In addition, the postholder will populate, administer and promote the School’s internal OpenStudy OER Moodle platform in an effort to aid the transference of School specialist knowledge further still, under a Creative Commons licence."
