"The Research Services team is seeking to appoint a Repository Services Specialist to support the implementation of new repository services. As part of the Research Infrastructure Services team, the role will help establish and then manage selected repository-based services, for example a new institutional repository for the Library’s own research publications as well as potential shared repository services. We also intend to transfer EThOS, the national thesis service, to a new repository platform, and the role will work closely with the EThOS Metadata Manager on areas common to both EThOS and other repository services developed or provided by the Library.  

Successful applicants will have experience of managing content in a research repository, as well as knowledge of and the ability to evaluate repository-related tools and technologies. You will need a strong understanding of research trends, in particular the trend and drivers towards open access, and you will have had experience of presenting information to different audiences. The ideal candidate would have experience of managing a repository, and knowledge of research data management and the use of personal and object identifiers for repository content."
