"This post will play a central role in supporting Open Access at Aston. You will be a member of a small well respected team in Library Services who are the institutional experts on Open Access, and Open Data and who are working to improve the profiles of Aston authors and publications.

This is one of two posts supporting Open Access publishing who work closely together. You will lead on delivering Green Open Access and on the management of Aston Publications Explorer, an EPrints repository which operates in conjunction with the Pure to enhance the profile of Aston’s publications.

Aston has a good level of engagement with Open Access and are our next challenges are further improvements to deposit workflows, repository functionality and use of ORCiDs and other author IDs. The scholarly communications landscape continues to develop rapidly and you will need to keep pace and recommend on appropriate changes in your areas."
