"There is information on open access requirements including an exemption to the open access requirements from April 2018 that will allow outputs to be REF compliant if they are deposited in an open access repository (i.e. PURE) within three months of the date of publication rather than acceptance. This is an exemption though and the policy remains that the article should be available within three months of acceptance."
