- Provide leadership and vision to create advocacy programs that encourage OSU faculty and graduate students to adopt open access research and publishing practices
- Develop partnerships with internal and external constituents to advance scholarly services and initiatives such as advocating for author rights, developing a model for copyright support, raising awareness about open access best practices including depositing works into the institutional repository, and managing scholarly impact
- Evaluate the potential for and guide implementation of technological tools and solutions for digital scholarship and scholarly communication
