"As Assistant/Associate Professor, Scholarly Services Librarian, you will:

  • Provide leadership and vision to create advocacy programs that encourage OSU faculty and graduate students to adopt open access research and publishing practices
  • Develop partnerships with internal and external constituents to advance scholarly services and  initiatives such as advocating for author rights, developing a model for copyright support, raising awareness about open access best practices including depositing works into the institutional repository, and managing scholarly impact
  • Evaluate the potential for and guide implementation of technological tools and solutions for digital scholarship and scholarly communication
  • Actively participate in this arena at state, national, and international levels
  • Undertake academic department liaison responsibilities consistent with your knowledge and experience and the needs of the library"
