Summary:

From Google's English:  "The Bill & Melinda Gates Fund, which is part of cOAlition S , recently announced the publication of its new Open Access policy , 2 which will take effect on January 1, 2025. Richard Sever, in the post Is the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation's new open access policy the beginning of a shift toward preprints ? 3 on the LSE Impact Blog , he discusses whether the Foundation's policy change is a push towards preprints . Three other posts on The Scholarly Kitchen blog discuss various aspects of the new policy. We will summarize them here...."
