Open Access @ Strathclyde — Strathprints now supporting the CORE Recommender

"From today Strathprints will be supporting the recently released CORE Recommender. The Recommender uses a unique algorithm, developed by colleagues at CORE, which rejects many of the usual methods employed by other recommendation engines. Instead the CORE Recommenderuses an innovative combination of 'content-based filtering' to produce a list of suggested items and then a 'vector space representation' to identify similarities between term vectors. Suffice to say, the CORE Recommender has now been deployed on Strathprints and will deliver extremely useful content recommendations for both externally and internally based Open Access content."
