Summary:

"... the Student Government Resource Center is hiring a campaign organizer to launch a nationwide network of student governments to advocate for accessible and affordable textbooks and course materials. This position will deepen and expand our campaign to expand the use of innovative solutions on campus like open-licensed textbooks, which are free online and free to download.

The campaign organizer doesn’t sit behind a desk. We need someone who is willing to work hard to advocate on behalf of students and help them advocate for themselves – whether it’s reaching out to student leaders from around the country, creating platforms and structures to support their advocacy, or working one-on-one to train those students as they develop plans to make change on their campuses.

Our two-year program emphasizes hands-on training and leadership development, giving staff the opportunity to make a tangible impact on critical issues while gaining real-world skills that will prepare you to be a future leader within PIRG."
