Should Public Health, like Climate Science, start backing up government datasets? : publichealth

Summary:

"Although public health data have not been politicized to the extent that federal climate datasets have, I have started to develop a fear that the new administration may cut funding for government websites containing datasets. In particular, I'm worried that datasets containing data on sexual minorities, reproductive health (particularly abortion and birth control), and vaccination safety (which Trump believes cause autism). I don't think there's going to be an active effort to remove these datasets, but that the Republican Congress and Executive branches will cut funding for the hosting and continued distribution of these datasets which in time will result in them disappearing from the internet."
