Summary:

"The Private Academic Library Network of Indiana [PALNI] seeks a proactive, team‐oriented, and innovative person to serve as Scholarly Communications/Open Access Librarian. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest and experience in institutional repository development and management, as well as scholarly communications, copyright, publishing, open access, and open educational resources. The candidate must have a willingness to engage in ongoing professional development in these and emerging areas. Reporting to the Executive Director, this position works both independently and collaboratively to promote the development of a consortia-wide repository for college, university, and seminary research and publications, faculty and student works, data sets, and emerging digital scholarship for the twenty-three PALNI small and medium academic institutions. This position also leads the efforts to raise awareness of scholarly communication issues, including open access publishing and open educational resources, and leads the professional development of librarians and staff assigned to scholarly communications work at each of the PALNI institutions."
