What can the library of Open Education?
Open Education has many new developments. Increasing education teaching material is made freely available available. But what role is there for the library when it comes to findability, searchability and the creation / co-creation of this material? The extent to which all libraries fill this role? What knowledge and skills are needed and what support technical developments these processes? These are important questions that can help libraries to take a new path.
Ideas gain during inspiration day
To learn from each other, discuss and get ideas, SURFnet organized during the Open Education Week (27-31 March), the "Inspiration: Everything you ever wanted to know about OER". The day begins with four inspiring lectures, afternoon followed by a roundtable session. During the inspiration-there is plenty of room for discussion, deepening and exchange of experiences that will lead to a vision of the role of the library."
