Assistant Director – Scholarly Communication Group, NTU Libraries

"Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Libraries invites applications for the position of Assistant Director in our Scholarly Communication Group. The successful candidate will provide leadership and guidance in the development, design and implementation of novel and sustainable research data management services for NTU researchers. These services shall facilitate NTU researchers throughout various stages of their research data lifecycle so as to meet NTU and funding agencies’ research data management and open access data sharing expectations. Applicants should have a strong interest in research data management, data curation and open access.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop, design and implement data services that support NTU researchers throughout all stages of the research data lifecycle
• Oversee the design and provision of training to researchers on research data management related topics
• Oversee the design of research data preservation, archival and curation services including the development and provision of data repository platforms, workflows and tools
• Apply international best practices to design, implement and advocate useful tools and services
• Engage key stakeholders such as Research Support Office, Research Integrity and Ethics Office, etc. in the design and implementation of advocacy programmes to promote good research data management and open sharing practices"
