"The Malaysian Administrative Modernisation and Management Planning Unit (MAMPU) today submitted its Open Data Readiness Assessment (ODRA) report to the government of Malaysia in conjunction with the launch of 2017 Open Data Day.

Prepared in collaboration with the World Bank Group Office in Malaysia and the World Bank Headquarters, the ODRA summarises the findings of 44 intensive interviews with government agencies, industries, non-governmental organisations, developers, academicians, journalist and international organisation conducted from October 31st to November 8th 2016.

The report outlines the country’s capacity to implement an Open Data program including recommendations that would improve existing procedures and operations governing data management. A representative from the World Bank Group later shared their knowledge and experience at the Open Data seminar held in the afternoon."
