Target is drastically cutting prices to compete with Walmart and Amazon.

We’ve lowered our prices on thousands of items, from cereal and paper towels to baby formula, razors, bath tissue and more.

Sure, there’s nothing like that victorious rush of nabbing a spectacular deal, but having to figure out what “As Advertised!” and “Temporary Price Cut” mean or waiting for just the right sale to roll around can be, well … super frustrating.

So, we’ve put our prices and promotions under the microscope. Our mission? To cut through the clutter and provide guests with great everyday value, while continuing to offer additional savings on the right products at the right times.

Just thought i'd bring this up because Target used to be known as the more expensive option, but things seem to be changing in the retail industry and price wars are occurring. So try shopping around at different stores to see which is offers the best price/quality, because your go-to store from last year might not be the best for you anymore.

PS. If you arent familiar with shopping at Target, they have an app "Target" which gives additional digital coupons from 5%-70% off, store credit or debit card "REDcard" which gives another 5% off, pay you 5 cents for every bag of your own you bring, and other discounts. So there are more savings to be made if youre frugal.
