Do not use the bathroom during work hours under no circumstances

I posted this under r/pettyrevenge and received feedback it may be better suited here.

So, a while back I was working for a very large company. We had to be accounted for every second of the day on our PC's and this includes toilet breaks. Apparently I was taking 'too many' toilets breaks and was told under no circumstances should I visit the toilet during work apart from my scheduled breaks. Fine.

So the next day I come in, I drink my medium coffee on the way to work and have my 500ml bottle of water that I usually drink all of and maybe fill up once per day. I wouldn't say this is a lot of fluids to drink in a 9 hour work day.

I needed the toilet a lot as usual but I kept it in until my breaks as I was told. I started getting pains in my lower abdomen and it hurt when I pee'd so I asked for my 'rules' regarding toilet breaks to be put in writing and they complied.

I was diagnosed with a water infection two weeks later (I am all clear now with no lasting effects) and I am in the process of receiving a pay out of £XXXXX because of their illegalities and 'inhumane' working conditions.

Ha
