Just calculated I spent $366 this year just on bottles of soda from the vending machine at my job. This doesn’t include other small mindless purchases that add up.

What an eye opener.

I decided to sit down and calculate just those purchases alone.

1.50 here and there doesn’t hurt at the moment, but considering I am not rich and in debt, I shouldn’t be throwing $300 + away yearly like this.

What a wake up call! Been back to work and haven’t touched the machine.

They made it too easy putting a new machine that takes debit cards. But of course it’s on me to make decisions.

What small purchasing habits have crept up on you this year?
