Meeting Charlie

12 years ago, my little guy, Charlie was born! He wasn't my intended puppy. What happened was I tried to be responsible in getting a pup from a private person who claimed they were on the up and up with breeding. I got excited and had everything ready for the puppy but when we met them it was a scam and I was heart broken. My partner at the time saw how badly I was feeling and impulsively stopped by a pet store on our way home. (In hindsight I understand this isn't ethical but this was 2011 so we didn't know how poorly these places could be ran but he meant well. I will always be thankful to him for this kindness) What follows is this comic. I met my boy this way and he's been my bestie ever since.
