"Library staff, with help from our friends, led ACU’s celebration of International Open Access Week from October 23- 29 this year. We sincerely thank and acknowledge everyone who contributed to its immense success. Staff from all over the University participated in events including Library displays on all campuses, a Library video conference for researchers and an eLearning session run by the Learning and Teaching Centre on using Open resources in LEO. A number of academics also contributed information for posters, Library displays, articles in the staff bulletin and videos outlining their own approaches to Open Access. We are incredibly proud of the work that has been done to promote Open Access at ACU. It demonstrates a strong commitment to the principles of equality, fairness, and justice that define us as a University. While International Open Access Week might be over, there are many ways you can continue to engage with Open Access on a continuing basis."
