Summary:

From Google's English:

"The new data platform AUSSDA (Austrian Social Science Data Archive) wants to collect, archive and publish publicly accessible research data for further use. Today a demo version will be presented.

Although a solid data base is a prerequisite for empirical work in the social sciences, the results of scientific surveys after the project is completed are often left unused and accessible only to a small group of people, Christian Bischof from the AUSSDA team. The new data archive AUSSDA, initiated by the Universities of Vienna, Graz and Linz and funded by the Ministry of Science, is now intended to simplify the reuse of high-quality data. On the one hand, existing collections such as Statistics Austria's microcensus will be transferred to a contemporary system, and on the other hand, new data sets from researchers and organizations will be integrated."
