Summary:

From Google's English:

"Quickly and easily make your own scientific articles accessible to the general public on the Internet - scientists can use Open Access to reach a large audience within and outside their discipline. In order for free access to scholarly articles via the Internet to work, modern concepts for the creation, publication and use of such publications are needed. The Federal Ministry of Education and Research ( BMBF ) promotes the use of open access in German science. 20 selected projects deal with how Open Access publications can be better prepared and disseminated. The BMBFthus implements another measure of its open access strategy. It supports interdisciplinary projects with a total of around 5.5 million euros for up to 24 months."
