TUM achieves top position in Open Access publications - TUM University Library

The Technical University of Munich is one of the leading sponsors of Open Access in Germany. On the platform of the Open APC Initiative(link is external), universities and major research institutions share their expenditure on Open Access publication fees, also known as Article Processing Charges (APC), as Open Data. For 2017, the University Library was able to register 307 articles with a total cost of 434,375 euros for the TUM(link is external), which were published with financial support from the TUM Publishing Fund
