Summary:
On the 23.-24. January, the public workshop "Knowledge Modeling and Blockchain for Research Data Management and Open Science in Plasma Technology" will be held at FIZ Karlsruhe .
The host of the workshop is the joint project QPTDat funded by the BMBF .
The workshop will present current developments and opportunities in the fields of knowledge modeling and blockchain for science, and present the current state of the art and the needs of scientists in dealing with research data in plasma technology. Within the framework of a World Café, the possibilities and requirements are discussed and it is emphasized, which contribution the project QPTDat, including the professional community, can make to a quality-assured and open handling of research data. Topics will include the possibilities of open science, technical solutions for the quality assurance and networking of research data and the formulation and automation of curation criteria.
